Anyone know what this is? There is a concave dimple in the center on both sides. The one side is marked with an "I-ish" looking symbol and a "9". The other side has no markings.

can you pst a pic of the other side that is at least as clear as this one? even though you said it's not marked, it could be helpful

I was wrong, its not a dimple, its a hole in the center.

"#9" is a good guess but I don't think it looks like part of the symbol is missing.

The 9 looks like the kind of stamps farmers and miners used on brass disks, but this piece is much smaller. The stamp in front of the 9 is a mystery. Does the center hole appear to have had a screw or nail in it at one point to fasten to wood?

I think the number is 64

Yea I can see that Though the Bottom Line on a 4 is unusual,
it's not unheard of.

Recently at a Park I was at, there were numbers maybe quarter size Nailed in Trees .
If I remember right it was some type of Newfangled Game a couple years ago there.
like possibly if they traced the numbers in order it was like following the dots on a piece of paper and seeing a picture :dontknow:

not saying that is what it is, but size of hole does not make me think tool tag, but more likely,
pole tag or other that would take a nail not a hook

although it seems a little large in diameter, my thoughts are a oil lamp wick wheel
