Kind of slow at the monthly show today, but did speak to one dealer displaying nice sets of '64-70(D+S) Kennedy halves that he'd put together roll hunting. Asking price = $95.

On that note, ASE's/Maples there going for $32-$35 ea.
Gold prices hadn't come down from last month's show.
I did see several rolls of 90% halves asking 22 X face.

Forget buying and enjoy the show is my advice. Those prices are not half bad (especially the 22x face), but you will undoubtedly be disappointed if you are only interested in the coins for the silver value considering silver is likely going even lower.

from a numismatics standpoint, get the coins you are after.

Went to a show today as well. Picked up a few dime proofs, a 76 silver quarter proof, a barber quarter and a 1 oz silver bar for a few dollars over spot.

I'm going to a coin show Sunday, looking forward to it. I'm shocked gold prices didn't come down at all given the tremendous drops in the paper market.
