well its 50 years after whatever it is celebrating occured * --thats the "golden"-- looks like a artist on it --maybe some art measum or measum in general --looks to be some lettering on the other side along the rim as well.

50 years of being married is called is golden as well.

I don't think this is either a coin or a token. It may, however, be a medal. Yes, it might say something like golden anniversary. Or it could say "silver" something. It also looks as if someone has tried to make a hole for wearing it, but didn't make it all the way through. Many early medals given to Native Americans were treasured keepsakes. Hope this is one of those.

That figure is VERY familiar for some reason...can't for the life of me remember what it's from though. First thought it was "the laughing cavalier" and then the artist Rembrandt, but neither matches up on google images.
The only other thing that springs to mind is a picture on an old cigar tin/box that i seem to recall from my youth. Something to peruse maybe? Sorry, not much help.
