Medalet promoting Winfield Scott for president, 1852

Looks like one side has a guy with a backpack and back side has a large eagle with wings spread wide. Any ideas on what this is?

looks like words around the edges...can you close up those?

the backpack looks like a shoulder to me...perhaps epaulets...which means military man...which means either G. Washington or A. Jackson...Harrison, Taylor?

looks like short hair so not Washington..so maybe Jackson...Harrison, etc...

OR those are not epaulets, just a shoulder...so any pre about 1850 president based on the style of the eagle.

I was using the macro setting cannot seem to zoom in and get a focused shot so I put some talc on and re took photo maybe this will help a bit.
