✅ SOLVED COIN ID?

Just wondered if anyone could ID this coin. About the size of a quarter. One side is toasted.

Chinese cash coin. The back would tell you more but the front tells us that it is.....

"If the coin has a character that looks like a coiled line or curlique similar to the character at the left then the coin is from the Qing (Ch'ing) Dynasty (1644-1911).

Some coins produced at the end of this dynasty were copper instead of bronze and were stamped by machines instead of cast in molds."

Here's a similar example I found this one buried in a park in a park east of Toronto.
I was told that it was likely a votive offering to the gods for good luck.

My find looks to be a relatively 'new' coin, which leads me to believe these coins are still being produced and sold today.
