Coin ID?

Any id experts. It was dug at a site that produced many 1850 to 1890 coins. It's about the size of a quarter. I can't seem to match it to any Canadian or British Coins.

The shield looks Spanish, with lions and castles in opposite quadrants. Likely candidate is Isabella II (1833-1868); similar obverse image found here (scroll down):http://americanhistory.si.edu/collections/numismatics/spain/Spain.htm
