Hey guys,

Recovered this copper fragment at the same site as a 1722 Rosa Americana earlier this year. It been soaking in oil for a few months and a few details are emerging. Its diameter would have been larger then a quarter based on the curvature. Any ideas

Pretty cool, I have something like that, I'm just 99% sure the thing I have is just a piece of modern scrap brass:laughing7:

I doubt that it's a coin but there's a chance, I see part of what looks like a design on it, on the photo below you can kind of see the design I'm talking about on the top of the coin. It's better in handIMG_20150417_190157.jpg
