Reminds me of the German States coins, if it is a coin, I just don't recognize that shield, perhaps Dutch/Austrian/etc? Can you make out any of the words along the edge of the front or back, or can you take really clear close-ups?

soak in distilled water overnight and give a very soft brush with toothbrush to bring out more detail and get better pics.
