Cru'Dads thoughts;

''Afraid this coin is too damaged to make a good ID from its pictures. I think I can see VAL on the obverse but unless in hand I would not commit to more than 60% sure. It does have the facial features like a VALENTINIAN I (smaller type at 15mm though) with the Reverse being a number of possibilities perhaps a spearing Horseman type (size would then make sense). In which case date would be circa 355-361 AD.
Another anomaly is that the legend is not correctly placed around the very edge of the coin or of an even size – so if is a FEL TEMP REPARATIO Soldier spearing Horseman it could well be a contemporary Imitation (albeit the bust would be very good for such an imitation coin of that period).
From the bust aspects I rule out a Constantine I or Magnentius (tend to be larger coins at 17-25mm) but there is a possibility of CONSTANTIUS II (but not 364-378AD types). From a size point of view the 15mm Diadem Head coins can range from 330AD to 388AD (Constantine I to Theodosius).
So err to a DN VALENTIANVS PF AVG or Imitation type coin which is of AE3/4 size circa 355-361AD.''

Constantine 1(the great ) AE4 one of the most common roman coin finds in the UK...Dia 14mm. But not much detail left to make a correct full ID, a lot of these late century roman bronzes have a very similar obverse.

Not quite but you made me check Dads results.
I looked at the pictures & can see 'STAN' on the Obv. I can also make out the soldier spearing horsemen on the reverse & Dad states; FEL TEMP REPARATIO;
Which to me only leaves 1 option;

Constantius II, 351-355 AD. D N CONSTANTIVS P F AVG, / FEL TEMP REPARATIO, soldier spearing fallen horseman.

I wasn't inferring it was Constantine 1st, mearly pointing out that the AE4 is 14mm in diameter.
