I found this yesterday. It says Coin Cycle Co 39. The Golden Cycle had a huge mine in the Cripple Creek district. I am hoping to tie this to the area. Maybe it was a offshoot of the company, or maybe it has to do with cycling. I don't know how you guys research these things but I come up empty handed. Maybe you could give me some tips on how to research things like this. Thanks for checking this out! Happy Hunting out there. It's going to be a great fall!!! Interesting find! I found this mention in the April 15 1902 Grand Island Daily (Nebraska) newspaper which makes reference to a company by that name out of Pueblo. The name listed here is "Melvern Sheppard" but I get more information about him using Melvin R Shepherd. In the 1903 directory for Pueblo he is listed as "repr Racycle Agency" and that company is listed as "Bicycles and Novelty Works." So it seems like this might have something to do with bicycles or some kind of coin/token operated machine...? I haven't made a direct link yet.

Melvin Shepherd later went on to run a automobile repair garage in Pueblo. Here's his findagrave:

Thank you Bramblefind! I just finished reading a post on a local Facebook site where someone found this. Screenshot_20210824-112825.png It was s from the Pueblo Cheiften 1900 in Colorado. I think the company must have rented bicycles and this is from one. I appreciate you looking into this!!!
