I got a phone call from a bank manager here not too long ago saying she want to sell her coin collection. She had a lot of coins and wanted to get rid of them. To be honest I figured $100 to $200 a Face for some reason just because she said she's been collecting them for a long time. Turns out she had about $10 Face value. Luckily there was two key date coins one being in 1932D quarter. The other being a 1904S Morgan in really nice condition.

I did not know the dates of the coins actually did not even look at them until I got home. Except for the Morgan's.

Okay so to make this quick. She said she's going to have to take her jewelry to the pawnshop because she has nowhere else to take it. So I told her she can if she wants to but I'll pay her 85% of the gold value. So she still has to go to her safe deposit box but this is what I got today. Spent $1823.

Then another 40 random pieces of costume jewelry and some old two and five dollar red seal notes. So that should keep me busy for a while. She also has these for sale to but I don't know what to do with them?

And also a lot of uncut stones. Lots and lots of them amethyst, jade, just about anything. tons of it. From the size of a quarter to the size of a basketball. I will be on the rocks/ minerals thread probably for the next three months.

How much did she want for the stones?

She does not know. For the gemstones or any of the uncut stuff either. She was hoping I could find some information on them but I don't even know what she has to begin with. A lot of them in the small cases, the gemstones were marked. With prices but some are ridiculous like a 5 mm cz stone for $45. She was going to pull out some out of her shed so I can get some idea of actually what she might have. She would probably give me the gemstones if I can find somewhere to have them checked for her because she trusts me. And she's the manager of the bank where my account is.
