Coin club Items

This past Monday I attended the monthly meeting of our local coin club and added a couple of items to my collection...….a 1905 Indian Head Cent which was a raffle prize and the 1971 Franklin Mint Sterling Silver Ben Franklin medal which I bought in the auction for less than melt value.

Thanks Tommy, it was a lot of fun. Coin clubs are becoming scarce nowadays but this one has been around since 1972 and is going strong.

Thanks for your post. Our club has a monthly raffle, but we have never had an auction. It sounds like a great idea.
