Found this coin box (I believe it's a change box/a box used for change) for around 1.5$.
How'd I do?
I thought it was a nice find.

....Nice change box . Where did you find it ? Any other pics/angles , makers marks ? More info the better !

And ..... Welcome to Treasurenet from Southern California .

Thanks! I got it from a flea market/antique store here in Sweden. As of now I can't find any company marks or others. I've searched the whole thing. IMG_0001.JPG

Together with this I also bought a set of old can openers (onetime use I believe) IMG_0001.JPG for 20 cents per pack.

The can openers are used for camping now a days. NOT single use. As a matter of fact they issued something similar to those to us Marines way back when we had to eat C-Rations.

The can openers were called John Wayne when my dad was in the marines back in the late 60s to the 70s. He kept one on his key ring and probably still does. HH

Yeah I know a bit more about them now. Such as that they were used by the public because people were using glass jars AND using glass pieces to open the cans.

Have a P38 on my keyring too. Sometimes they open up and give you a nice jab in your thigh, keeps things interesting.

Nice looking money storage box. If you go to garage sales, you may notice a lot of people still use boxes like that to hold their money to give back change.
