Coiltek coils for Excalibur???

Anyone use them? Are they well made? What does "WOT" mean and what is its significance?

I believe WOT means wonderful Orange Thing. As for using them, I will find out tomorrow if the 15" WOT is worth what I paid for it. Ihear good things about them and the depth they get.

iv owned 3 of them.they are great coils.about 15" on a dime for depth with my Sovereign.the one for the Sovereign will work on the Excal's..the only problem i have with them is they are heavy! if you are young and in good shape you should have no problem,im going to sell mine soon as my Tennis Elbow and bad shoulder is worse.

I had an excal 800 that I got a 15" WOT for... It did work well. Installed it myself with the quick-change, waterproof connectors.

It was definitely heavy... and a lot more work in the surf, but it worked well. The one thing I did have to do was readjust ALL of the settings. The normal settings I used with the 8" coil made the WOT quite unstable... but, with a little adjusting, it worked well.
