I've got a Fisher F2 that I really like. With only three outings under my belt with it, I've found about $6 in change around a set of bleachers. Changing to the little 4" coil really helped me pinpoint the coins. I'm wondering if the 10" accessory coil would give me much of an advantage over the standard 8" one when I'm hunting fields and old home sites. I'm not sure that it's worth another $50 or $60?? I'd really like to get the 11" DD coil, but it costs almost as much as the F2 itself! Any advice???

I purchased the 10" for my F2 - it added 1 to 1-1/2 inches easily to depth - pinpointing still right on, so no problems there...I thought I recall reading in a forum somewhere that the 11" DD will not work with the F2? I could me mistaken...I need to find that post...If I recall, review said it made the TID go a bit off, and depth was bad.

The 10" coil definately adds another 1 1/2" to the F2's depth. And

IMHO, pinpointing is a bit more difficult.

Mine has a bit of a warp that I hadn't noticed before.

It's also great for covering more area faster, especially when your targets are far a few between.
