HI guys im in the market of upgrading from a garrett 350 to either at pro or gold, my opinion about the ace 350 great machine for the beginners out there, but back to my question COILS FOR GARRETT AT PRO AND AT GOLD, what types of coils are available and is there any available that'll detector 12 inches plus for deeper coins or relics, ive read on another forum about the nel type coils, has anyone tried these and do they work, any information would be muchly appreciated.

Im not sure what machine you are running now..I know the ACE 250 is one of the best Begginers Machines..IMO.....and the ATP pro is Very easy to figure out....I have seen numerous people on here that were disappointed in thier ACE 350..

I think the ATP is a very good Upgrade machine....Not to mention the fact its water proof...you cant beat that

hey my ace 350 worked a treat until the circuit board malfunction, and i rang garrett for some advice and they quoted me roughly $300 to repair or fix, so i didnt bother sending the detector in for repairs, now im just looking for a upgrade from it, im still thinking on what machine to get, i want the best all round machine for the money, its either at pro or at gold, but is the at gold a better machine then the at pro, ill be searching for coins, relics, gold, etc, i sort of need help in choosing. and digging and dumps thank for the reply :). cheers.

The gold is probably the better machine if you don't hunt in or near the salt water. It has a slightly higher frequency and picks up small gold better if that's what your after.
