coil cover

Always! Your coil will last a lot longer and don't forget tp remove it to clean out the sand.
 

Most people do .I dont use one just my preference But Steve is correct "sometimes " LOL Kiddin Steve!!!
Just keep debris from being in there it can cause false signals , and it will protect your coil from scratches or being broke if you hit a rock really hard. Good question.....
 

I’ve went thru 2 even with marine epoxy. So how would that coil have held up? Mine stays on the sand.
 

Trying to learn from this thread. What is the best coil cover for the 600? I now have learned I need to order one. Are some better than others in salt water?

I use the Minelab cover. Take it off and clean after every trip. Works fine for beach hunting.
