Coil cover ?

Hi everyone ! For my first post I have a question: I own a Bounty Hunter Land Star with an 8 inch coil and was wondering if anyone knows of a coil cover that will work without modifications, that is sold on Amazon ? (Since I got a gift card for Amazon today).

This should fit any of the Bounty Hunter 8 inch coil's as they are all the same. I don't have one for my 505 but I did get one for my Land Ranger Pro DD coil and it just snapped right on I would assume the 8 inch version works the same way.

They are not the same covers....there are 2 different 8 inch covers actually....they are not compatible with each other.

For a older 6.6khz 8 inch coil you need part number 8COVER-N

For newer 7.7khz 8 inch coils you need 8COVER-7

They are not the same covers....there are 2 different 8 inch covers actually....they are not compatible with each other.

To complicate matters further, sometimes when First Texas ran out of a certain coil, they substituted one from another of their lines like the 8" Fisher or Teknetics coils. I ran into this problem when I went to buy an 8" coil cover for my Bounty Hunter Legacy 3500 (a newer model version of the Discovery 3300). It came with a 8" Teknetics coil that also fits and works on the Fisher F2/F4/F5 models and the Bounty Hunter Pioneer 505, Landstar, Discovery 3300, ect. In this case I ended up looking at all the 8" coil covers that First Texas made & was able to identify it by shape.
