Went sand fishing again today, low tide was extra low, may be due to the full moon. Spotted a ring partially exposed on the surface and was surprised when it came up on a chain with another ring on it as well. The chain and the blue stone are marked 14k, the cross ring .925 but the xoxo ring has no markings visible and is missing 2 stones. The small pin, which kept falling through the scoop, says: Polk County Florida Public Schools, Knowledge is Power, with the number 30 in the center. May be a student award of some kind ?

Sweet finds, congrats to you. The stone looks like a blue topaz and is very pretty. Good luck and keep em coming!

Smiles!

That's the way to find em, chained together. Those are some nice rings.

Full moon is best time to hunt near water. Low tide is at its lowest point.

Some nice finds there.

I hunt Cocoa Beach on occasion, but am not a water hunter, just dry sand or wet sand up to the water. Glad to see you did well.

Piggy is right. I wish more people would chain all their treasure together....

Keep siftin'...

Wow what nice finds, since it was sticking out, did you swipe your detector over it? Otherwise doesn't count.. :D Kidding, Congrats.
