I found this purple-red rhyolite ovate point today 9/22/19 on the beach in North Kingstown, Rhode Island.
It fits the Cobb description better than Guilford but both types don't exist here
The site I collected from has produced clovis points so maybe a preform for a St. Charles point?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. It's 66mm long, 32mm wide and 11mm thick
