I hope you don't mind, but I tried to draw a reconstruction of your Clovis. I know that there are others out there that are more artistic, But this is what I came up with. Hope you like it.

I posted this the day while you were still in the field. Are you sure they are not reading t-net?8-)

"Is it fluted on both sides? Heart thumper there. Is the tip broke it almost looks worked?"

lol, i seen that thanks man,, heck yeah old digger thanks, thats way cool of ya buddy.

So this is probably a dumb Q, but I'm going to ask it anyway. Does anybody sell these old artifacts and make any money? I'm assuming some trade shows or something like that maybe somebody will buy something off your display. But I'm mostly asking about large quantities or even bundled sales. Museums? Schools? At the risk of this next part sounding rediculously racist, I'm sorry in advance: Has anyone gone on a Res and tried to sell any if they knew it was from that tribe?
Let me know what you think folks.

Idk

Start a new thread if you wish to know more we do not want to hijack Trevmmas post about his find.

Maybe they thought of salvaging it or broke it during manufacture. I do not think it was turned into a tool though do you?

I think ,lol they killed the mastadon there and quickly made a quick job of the broken base to be able to cut better. Then they were going to take it back later to their camp and retip it.

maybe it snapped when it hit a rib then chipped when it hit vertabra
