You found a Fur trade-era brass point! :headbang: Wow, you are definitely on prime trading grounds.

Kirk :hello:

When I first pulled it out of the ground I was thinking point. But, I was thinking it was too small and thin. Plus, I was thinking of a point as being iron. The site is definitely fur trade. You really think it is a point, Kirk?

Steel or copper?

Think it's brass. It's real thin and will bend. Didn't have the green patina that copper gets.

I think it is a metal arrowhead too. I've got two from down here in SW Ga. Mine were shaped like cones and made of copper.
