Clive's Book ... Shallow Water Metal Detecting ...

I ordered a copy May 22 and it came today looking like it was underwater for a few days.
Complete with white mold and totally ruined.
I guess the airplane it was on (sent air mail) must have crashed into lake Michigan or something.

Got the new book Clive sent ... see my last post.

I'd tell Clive about the condition the book arrived in. From my past dealings with him... he seems like a "two thumbs up" sort of guy and I wouldn't be surprised if he wouldn't ship you another one for no cost.

I am sure he would ... in fact I think he already has ... but it will be another three weeks before I get it ... if all goes well.
I really ... NEED ... ... a copy sooner than that.
The information is that valuable!

I see there are people asking questions about what they should know about their first time beach hunting.
Seems simple enough ... go to the beach and swing the detector ... easy ...
Everything you will need to know for success on your first trip out to the beach is between those covers.
Years of experience and knowledge.
Why learn from you mistakes when you can save yourself a LOT of time learn from his ... ...
My advice to them is get yourself a copy of Clive's books and read them cover to cover.
You will step onto the beach with more knowledge than some that have been doing it for years.

Personalty ... I think there should be a copy of Clive's two books on water hunting included with every water detector sold and if he ever writes a third one I will be first on the list to buy it.

Glad the new one showed up in one piece, Will. No way, not Canada Post. I actually saw a documentry on the USPS and they have a room full of jackals in the back. See the teeth marks in your photo? Hope you like the new one.
