Clipped planchet penny, any value?

Hi Everyone,

First off, I am not really I don't know a lot about coins. It is a fairly new world to me. I have a penny that I got in my change a few years ago and am wondering if it has any value other than a penny. It is a clipped planchet (I think). I am just wondering if it is worth more than a penny or not.

My opinion is that the coin would be worth a few dollars. Lincoln Cents with curved clips are common. Do a search for them on ebay and I am sure that you will see a few. You may get a better idea on value after you compare your to a few others.
