I have found clipped early one cent coppers. I don't recall one that small, however.

Hard to imagine buying something for a fraction of a cent but I found a token for 3 1/3 cents.

Found 3 and a 1/4 coins.

1803 draped bust

Two toasted coppers

Is it common for a penny to be cut? Or was this an accident??? Looks deliberate

Also found a weird bronze looking bell piece?
Nice!!!! Congrats!!!!! Usually only see coins cut like that in Silver! Cool!!!
