I was standing at the teller window today waiting patiently for the vault teller to finish with a customer when I hear one of the other tellers clinking coins with that distinct sound. Before I could even ask, she walks over and asks "Are these what you would consider silver" and shows me 11 silver Washingtons all noticeably old. I could hardly keep myself from showing too much excitement. She asks if I want them... (are you kidding me!!) As if scoring silver quarters isn't amazing enough she then asks If I want dimes too! She lays out 6 Rosies. I think that this was all, then she says "Hey you'll probably think these are cool too" She pulls 5 mercury dimes out of an envelope. You want these too? Yes please!!!!!!!!

Boy am I glad I bring in goodies for the tellers at this bank!

Awesome score! In my area most of the tellers know about silver and either keep it for themselves, or insist to their customers that they should sell their silver coins at coin shops.

Nothing like establishing great relationships with your tellers and your supply banks...then of course being in the right place at the right time never hurt either
