Well we left Key West with two rings not gold or silver but a find anyways. We are camping by Tampa, Fl and are visiting Clearwater Beach. I brought my New Minelab Equinox 800 to try. I did not know the water would be so nice I would of also brought my Fisher CZ-21 because I love being in the water. Waiting to clear out and try this new MD out.

I miss your point...... you do know the Nox is waterproof? So there is no reason you cant get her wet. On small gold i dare say the Nox will surprise you.

This was the first time out trying a new MD on a new beach I never been to. I know the Nox is waterproof however I still learning this medicine and have no idea how to use it other then reading the manual. If I have know the ocean was so shallow I would of brought my other MD to get in the water. Even with my CZ-21 I used it on the beach for a month before going in the water. I guest my point was I should of brought both MDs to the beach!

Great post I would love to be at that beach Great finds also

Looks like a great place to hunt! :icon_thumleft:

Really enjoy hunting at the beach were everyone is throwing away there jewelry

Nice finds on a nice beach in warm weather. I can’t wait. Still cool here.

Nothing like it was say 7 years ago where it had a great trough ....... and you could see 14 or 15 hunters running it back and forth. Mondays was elbow to elbow out there with some very good hunters. She can be a little stingy with the gold now. Pushed up sand and the Red Tide last year didnt help.
