Well took a break from putting a new roof on the house and decided to hit my front yard for a bit. It still amazes me how much I keep finding considering I have gone over it dozens of times. I guess the more I use my ACE the more I get it figured out. Well I pulled out two IH's a 1900 and 1905, a 1914 wheat, dateless buffalo nickel, and a 1942 merc! First buffalo and merc for me. My house was built in 1910 and the town dates back to the 1850's so I'm sure that there are still plenty of finds laying in that yard. Will get pics up as soon as possible, had a rain storm and my tarp job didn't cut it last night so had my hands full trying to keep the upstairs dry.

Well here are the pics, and I also got a new tarp that covers the whole roof so it shouldn't be raining inside anymore.

Same here. I guess you will never find it all. I have covered my tracks several times and keep finding things. It's funny how you will swing one way and get a signal but if you swing another way you get no signal. I'm hoping for some rain . People say it helps on the sensitivity or something like that. I've noticed after a good rain I hit more targets. Keep at it and keep learning ;D

Re: Cleaning up the yard!

Nice finds and keep taking breaks. and clean that yard. There more there

Thanks for the comments. I was considering upgrading my detector but I think the Ace is still getting the job done.

Nice going! Hopefully in time you can get to do the neighbors' yards too! Old neighborhoods are so fun to hunt!

Great old coins. Looks like a fun hunt. Wait till it rains then go over the area again!

Good going and yes, go over it again, especially after a good soaking rain period (two or three days).

congrats on the great finds man! Keep hitting it and see what else turns up.
