That is ok, Smokey. Half the fun is the playing. I am like you. I like to find all my stuff. It means more than buying it.
Most of the places these pieces came from are gone now, they closed off most the mines before I was born. The working mines won't let you anywhere near. The followers have also made it impossible to get on a lot of so called public land, they would rather watch it burn so they can blame global warming. I would love to be able to get into all the places these pieces came from and find them myself but it is not possible.

Yep, more and more places are shut down. You are fortunate to have such a nice collection.

I like that round piece with the spider looking vein in it. Looks like a cut of petrified wood.
