Well,
Got the Whites V3i last week and was finally able to take it out on its maiden voyage to a couple of the local parks. I dug so much trash that I thought I was going nuts. My bottle cap count was out if this world, until I started ignoring that VDI number. Problem with that is, quarters hit at or near the same. Still some learning going on, so a Tesoro could probably leave me in the dust right out of the gate
I did dig some clad, which was mostly pennies, a dime, and 1 quarter. I can honestly say that I have not dug this many pennies in a long time and the learning curve is gonna take some time. Not used to the sounds that the Whites makes, as I was so used to the Minelabs tones, but with perseverance, I will overcome that obstacle.
I did dig a '56 Wheatie at an honest 7 1/2" and was totally impressed with that one.
xGregx totally blew me away with his find, but I wll not tell what it is, as I think he is going to post that one sometime. I can tell you this though, After he recovered the target, we set my Lesche trowel in the hole and the end of the grip was dead even with the top.
Hope everyone has been diggin the dirt now that the rain has come and softened it up a bit for us.
