I have found a 1914D and took it to a coin dealer,said in that condition he would go a Benjamin...The more he looked at it ,said if i could get it cleaner it could possibly go for the 350 -450 range ..His opinion was it was lost in xf-au. Already tried ultrasonic...My question the potato method??? TO ALL NEVER USE TOBASCO !!!!! I tried it on common copper pennies came away with copper disc...
 

i like the potatoes, but make sure not to leave it in too long

never use salt & vinigar

no, it mostly depends on the type of corrosion...the best would have to be the hydrogen peroxide method....theres a post on the forum about it

Hey Golden Coin <thanks for the advice on the penny..Sorry it took me so long to respond,I was looking for a used crock pot (small one).I found one for a buck at a yard sale ;D IT WORKS GREAT!!!! Thanks again ..Nickel 67
