Hi guys - I’m using this week to clean out my closet of some old finds. I bought this watch and a few other items for $10 at an estate sale. It is marked Rolex. Before I get rid of it, can you all help me determine if it is a fake. I know nothing of watches. Thank you. Looks to me to be a copy. But that's a good thing, because real ones keep LOUSY time

A very bad fake. The logo is splashed onto a “diamond”. And quartz. But still worth at least $15 to somebody. I throw those Fauxlexes into watch piles and list the entire group.

The "Hong Kong" at the bottom is telling as well.

Actually mine keeps great time. Only issue is it is timed at sea level, so when I come back up to altitude, it picks up just a slight more speed

Even the fakes can go for a few hundred
