Hello to all the experts in cleaning, who I need some advice from.
I dug some melted silver coins from my grandfather's homeplace, which burned in the '40's. I can only surmise that these are in fact the coins given their location before and after the fire. We also have another chunk of similar metal from the same type of event that a friend of ours gave to him to see what he could do with it. Question is, how do you clean this stuff? As far as we know, this actually is the silver result, as it doesn't have the softness lead has, the light weight or brilliance of aluminum, or the porosity of melted pot metal.
Any advice would be much appreciated and well regarded.
Thank you all for reading, and happy hunting!!
