Suffering! It is that time of year when a "digaholic" does just that. Withdrawal is a *****. Philately helps....a bit. Start at "A" for Aden. Up to 'G" for Ghana already. May run out of the alphabet way too soon before the spring thaw.
Decided that this morning was a good one to clean up some of the silver(mind you the domestic clean up came first) that my Garrett family (Freedom 3 plus, AT Pro and Seahunter mk11) had found. Mind you all did not come clean.
Used the old glass pie plate lined with tin foil and baking soda trick. The ones that remained dark there is no hope for as they came from the ocean or shoreline.
Got to ask me son....................HOW ARE YOU COPING?

I use Wright's brass polish on my common silver coins. Works great!

Nice pile there Leslie!
Coping well here. Cleaning silver not much of a challenge but have enough to remind me of warmer days.
Boredom is combated by grabbing a snow shovel and slowly pecking away at winter.
Being much like digging a hole with a teaspoon time passes and there is an occasional chuckle at the futility of it all.

Set yourself up a mini electrolysis unit. Should clean up the salt water silvers nicely. It's easy to set up. Nice haul last year. Hope you double it this year.

They look so nice all lined up like that! :icon_thumright:

Excellent collection of finds!

Thank you for sharing.
