Is it a white clay pipe? Are there mold lines on the bowl? Are there maker's marks on the little plug that sticks out on the bottom? Is it well used and have lots of tobacco stain?

There never was a flag designed like that... I feel this is strictly a decorative motif.

Just tidying up some blasts from the past (including some very ancient ones), largely for the benefit of anyone searching the site for information.

I would bet the pipe dates from around that time.
