I've been a history buff in Clay County, Florida for a long time. I've always wanted to try metal detecting, and just recieved a Tek Delta 4000 for Christmas. I have a lot to learn and very eager to get started.
I enjoy photography, carpentry, writing, web design, dirt racing, decoupage and just about anything creative. I retired from the US Navy in 1998, where I spent 20 years serving as an aviation electronics technician.
I am a member of the Clay County Historical Society and webmaster for the Military Museum of North Florida website (www.militarymuseumofnorthflorida.com). I also created and maintain www.claycountysounder.com, where I post pictures I have taken of events and areas in Clay County, Florida.
