🏆 HONORABLE MENTION Class ring

Found this last weekend at a park in the middle of the field. It didn't have a name but did have initials. I was able to track down the guy through the high school's principal who just so happened to be from the same year. I found out that it was stolen from him almost 30yrs ago just a couple of years after he bought it. He is from Wisconsin and I found it in Oklahoma. He said that he has a good friend that was the best man at his wedding that lives near where I found it. He thinks the guys younger sister might have taken it one day at his house. Anyway he was so impressed that someone found it and would take the time to track him down and get it back to him. I will be putting it in the mail tomorrow.

Thanks. I sent it off to him today and he said he would gladly send me a pic when he gets it. Sounds like he is a nice guy - didn't harbor any ill will towards the one who stole it and still thinks of him as a friend. (I'm a lady by the way!)
I found another class ring last year but it had no year, name or initials so I couldn't really track them down. I put an ad in the local Craigslist but didn't get the right response from anyone.
