Ugh!! Today, we got about 2 inches of snow in N. Massachusetts, and I fear that the end of the hunting season may be here.

Since I have had my new MD (three weeks), I have put in 15 hours of MDing- yes, I keep a log ;D

Found $6.80 in clad, tons of trash, one IH, 9 wheaties, and these other odds and ends pictured below. (not pictured is an odd, heavy piece of some metal I have listed in the "what is it" forum).

It is funny, but I actually enjoy finding keys. The thoughts run through my head each time- did they have a spare? Was it an unpleasant break up? ;)

Now I get to spend the winter picking out a new detector. I am tired of digging two inches into the ground, and my fiance wants to detect, too... She gets the Tracker IV for now, and I have to decide between a DFX or an Explorer SE. ???

May we all find a few thawed days this winter to hunt!

Sounds like a great year of detecting. Can't wait to see what your new wife finds.

Hope you both have a Great Detecting New Year.

Nice!

PM me. I'm in Lowell too. I'm pretty sure I can get you to a couple places where you'll find more than keys! ;D

TSS,

congat on the finds.

Only 6 weeks and you got a IH and
a bunch of wheats; took me much longer.

Keys, clad, whatever, the wonder of what
is setting off your detector is all part of it ;D

DFX or SE, decisions, decisions ;)

have a good un.................

NICE FINDS!!! As I always say, $6.80 in clad is as good as 6 or 7 mercury dimes!
