What do you guys do with your clad proofs? I know some people save them. Some people mark them in throw them back. Some people it doesn't even phase them.
Well I just wanted to put it out there that if anyone has any they wanted to sell, I'll give you $1.25 + shipping for them. The more the better. Just shoot me a PM or post on here. Thanks

What kind of condition are we talking?

I would consider saving, instead of marking them... I only keep the AU ones, if theres a couple scratches or wear on the face, they get tossed back.

I had decent luck on ebay, but the customer wasnt too happy, that there were some finger prints, and hairline scratches on "CIRCULATED halves"... which I cleary said circulated, and that I found in circulation atleast 3 times... he still *****es... although he did pay about 4x face for 60$(facevalue) worth. higher than the buy it now price I had... lol

But since then, I havent wanted to bother saving and trying to ebay them...

Seems like a fair price, but I'd rather trade mine for silver.

:coffee2: I only keep the ones with the frosting on them. Is that the ones you are talking about? I find them in all sorts of conditions. Some may have minor scratches, fingerprints, etc. What would you be interested in? Send me a pm.

I keep them all, even if they are in just awful shape. I've got an album I put them in and just roll up any duplicates.

I keep all my proofs too, I love them all regardless of condition.

I found the following ones last year... Which ones do you want? I'll think about the price. Chances are better with ones that I have more than 1.

I have 85 extras 1971-2011, if condition isnt an issue I will sell them for your price to you.

It's funny they minted more '87 proofs than regular coin. I have like five or six 87's. When I get a roll I'll put it on ebay.

I made friends with a lady at a flea market and I'm going to put them in 2×2 and see if I can't sale them for like a $1.50 and give her the 10% she wants.

A flea market only charges you 10%? That is cheap if that is all you have to pay.
