Hunted another obstacle on the Army post this evening for an hour after work.? Working overtime Saturday and Sunday, rather be detecting!? I did a little better than yesterday with a total of $15.95.? 2 hours of hunting yielded over $30.00 in clad coins, wish I could do this well more often but this is one of those special sites, and it will replenish itself.? Hunted here just a few months ago and found about $35.00 on the same obstacles.? Here?s a picture of the coins and a total count:
53 Quarters
42 Dimes
23 Nickels
No Pennies
3 Two Euro coins, 1 Euro=$1.25ish
1 One Euro coin
2 .50 Cent Euro coins
2 .10 Cent Euro coins
1 One Deutsch Mark coin=$.50
1 .50 Deutsch Mark? coin

This is one of the obstacles on the course but not one I hunted, I?ll hunt these types later, they take longer to replenish, LOL!? HH, Mike

you found as much clad in one outing that i have found in a month and a half! absolutely awesome!

I would start digging, those obstacles must be old. Find the old ones and or where the old obstacles stood and dig.

HH!!

Hey MUD, I just did a quick search on your area, you have all those lakes "finger lakes" in the area and something like 1.5 million tourists going through there a year! Have you hunted the lakes and beaches? If you research the area around the lakes, you might find some old homestead ruins in the forest areas. I see there are several houses near the lake, Bed and Breakfasts that date to the early 1800s=old coins and silver. Maybe try to get permission to hunt one of these old houses? HH, Mike
