Just got back from hunting my local high school for the third time in the last week and a half. It was close to 95 degrees today with high humidity, so doing anything outside that resembled work was useless. I stayed in the air conditioning for most of the day, but really wanted to get back to the school to get more clad. You see, the last two times there I got $21.47, and $17.73 respectively, that's no joke! Today, after only 1 1/2 hours hunting I bagged another $17. 36. I got 49 quarters, 40 dimes, 18 nickels, and 21 pennies. Most all of the money here has been found near the football field concession stand. There's still alot more area left to hunt near the stand, plus acres of other athletic fields and around the school building itself. I really wonder how much clad I will end up with from just this one school. I probably won't have to go anywhere else this summer to hunt clad if this continues. John

Wow -thats alot of change!! Most schools around here the fields are fenced off so there is no access except during games. Playgrounds have not yeilded alot.
Congrats & HH

WOW!!! is the only word to describe your recent finds...HH

Although there is no way I can say for sure, I really don't think that this school has ever been hunted except by me a few years back, and even then I did'nt hunt most of the area very well. I don't see anybody with detectors around here, and this school is off the beaten path and secluded, although it is a large school that has been there for about 30 years and in a fairly large community. I literally get physically tired of digging all the money here, but who's complaining! HH John

congrats on the pounds of clad you are pulling out of there.
That is an impressive total. Hopefully, they will have dropped a piece of jewelry or two in there for you. Keep it coming, well done.

SMiles!

RULES OF CLAD

1. For every clad dime you find, you can buy a wheat penny which is like finding one.

2. For every 2 clad quarters you find you can buy a silver war nickle.

3. For every dollar in clad you find you can buy a silver dime.

4. For every $2.50 in clad you find you can buy a silver quarter.

5. For every 2 dollars in clad you find you can buy a 40% silver half.

6. For every 5 dollars in clad you find you can buy a circulated 90% silver kenedy, franklin, or even a walker.

7. For every 10 dollars in clad you can buy a silver dollar.

8. I found 2 dollars in clad the other day which is like finding 20 wheats, or 2 mercury dimes, or 4 silver war nickles.

I LOVE CLAD!!!
