This is the most clad over ever dug in 3 hours, $4.68. This is an old park(1800s), but the oldest coin was 1965, of course, 3 1965 dimes and 1 1965 quarter. I dug it all with the pro and 5x8 coil. I wonder, should I switch to the base coil for more depth and go slow, or is there no silver there. Supposedly the park had a makeover in the 70s. Maybe all the old stuff is gone...still that's a lotta change!

So I went back yesterday, switched to the standard coil and found an 1882 IH. Talk about all over the place! Problem is, I have no idea how deep it was. I was down to like 14 inches and was going to give up when I noticed it at the side of the hole in the dig up dirt when I was about to fill in the hole!

Still no silver, but since I found this I know FOR SURE its there!

those scratchy 70 signals are those crusty pennies. I don't dig them up.
