I know the saying, "the worst day fishing is better than the best day at work", but I am ready for some better grounds!
I have been cursed since the 1937 Mercury I pulled the other day.

Just a couple of wheats and the rest clad for the last couple of days:

Please someone invite us to a good Civil war or colonial site!

I hear ya. I started this year off strong, finding 17 silver by March 4th. But since then, nothing better than a Wheat. >:(

Captain Caveman,
17 silvers YTD is wonderful!!
I did manage a 1939 mercury dime today and a 1901 Indian Penny (toasted).
I watch the "Hoover Boys" on Youtube, and those guys are digging silver and Indians daily.
They hunt the parks in Baltimore, Maryland, so they are on old ground.
My guess is some of those areas are scary though.

We can't compare our finds to those guys in the New England area. They have older history over more square miles!

Finally got a War Nickel today to break another silver drought.
It was a 1943, but it was an "S" mintmark.
