Got out for an hour or so over the last couple of days. This is typical of what I have been finding for the past couple of months! Some clad, some junque, a wheat penny, a cheap bracelet plate engraved "Bonnie", a race car, a gas fitting, a broken key, six modern .44 cal. bullets (I know Nana is jelous), and the two legged pig I found last week! Did I miss anything important? ;) At least I know things are bound to get better! Monty

A Yellow Pig....gadzooks.....what will come out of the ground next!!! Mabe some Gold!!!!! Keep on digging........

I see you may have found one of the Bonnie and Clyde shootouts, the bullets, Bonnie's bracelet-the getaway car w/a broken key and isn't a breed of pig called a Barrows (as in Clyde Barrows)?

I couldn't have said it any better stoney. OH yea!!! Ha Ha LOL Monty he has your number. Burdie

FYI, A barrow is a mature male hog that hasn't been castrated!

You knew I would be Jim! ;D

Glad you're getting to go out and play!

;)

Monty,

Great finds, only if I could find things like that.

The casing is the rusted out bottom half of a .243 Winchester, but the bullets are Hornady 240 gr. .44 XTPs. I've reloaded a ton of them. Found the bullets in what use to be the backyard of a torn down house. A little illegal target practice perhaps? The yellow pig was just barely covered with dirt and I saw it sticking out of the dirt. The matchbox car was pretty close to it. Both were at a house tear down site. Went to my aunts house yesterday, circa 1940s (the house)....aunt is ciarca 1930s! Found a 1952 and 1945 wheat cent, a lipstick (Helena Rubenstein), a sample of lip balm and some clad pennies. Also found a tiny Monopoly thimble token, second one of them I've found. Expected a little silver perhaps, but no such luck. Deepest target was the lipstick at 8". Monty

Nice finds Monty! Is that a token with the 5 on it? HH, Mike

No, tha coin with the five says "play money" on the other side and is made of aluminum. The token is a little thimble I didn't get into the picture. Forgot and left it in my pants pocket until after the post was made. Monty
