Although I had gone slightly in the water once or twice since getting the AT Pro, today was my first "real" venture in the water. I decided to hit two swimming areas to test out the machine and learn how to use it properly. The first place I went was sparce on good tagets and in one area the detector was VERY chattery. I'll have to learn how to adjust that, ended up turning down the sensitivity. ended up with some clad and a small heart pendant.
The second place I went was an old beach that people still use - LOTS of bottle caps, but at least kids won't step on them now. I pulled mostly clad.
I was getting about as deep as I could go and got one nice hit, a 10K white gold wedding band.
All in all it was a very good morning and I loved detecting in the water.
