Civilian Flat Button?

Looking for some help.
The backmark of this button is SCOVILL MF'G CO. WATERBURY CONN
I cannot find any SCOVILL buttons with the CONN
Has anyone seen this button or know how old it is?
It's about 22.5mm

I think the use of CONN is post civil war to 20th century.

Has to be pre-1963, since state abbreviations became 2 letters then.
