Some history:
Ira H. Fitch was an interesting man. He came to nearby Jericho in 1837 and was a blacksmith. In 1854 he moved to Aurora and started a hide and leather business, then established a harness shop on Broadway (your token). He died in 1880. More on his life can be found on page 1099 here:
