I'm sure this is a civil war token. However, I cant seem to find any info on the web about this coin in particular. Anyone have any clue as to value? It was given to me by my grandfather years ago. Thanks for any help. Any additional info on the coin will be appreciated also.

Store token. Not Civil War related.
Thank you SWR. Any idea of value? I unfortunately do not have a token book to reference.

Civil War tokens are divided into three categories, Patriotic, store cards and sutler tokens. Yours is a store card civil war token. Value would be hard to determine without knowing the variety and rarity, but most Civil War storecards are relatively inexpensive.

Civil War store card. There may be someone on here with a book to identify the rarity, variety and list value. Most of the ones I have are Patriotic tokens not worth more than $10.00 each. Yours is in great condition. The value is based on the rarity, composition and the condition of the token.

Thanks for the replies guys. I posted this in the tokens/tags section of the site also and someone was able to identify it. It was in the civil war token book. Value is $60 in XF condition...which this token appears to be
