Very hard to read in the photos, what does it say?

Yes, you have what is called a Patriotic Token.
I can't read the top word but the rest is "....It must and shall be preserved."

PS: On a second look, the top line should read: The Federal Union---like this:

It says Army Navy on one side.
And on the other side. The Federal Union, It must and shall be preserved.
