It was a wonderful day of detecting, actually even if I didn't find these items it was still a wonderful day detecting. It first started with a 1863 Frans Siegel 1863 civil war token, "charging horse - union for ever". Gold gilded button , 1943 mercury dime, 1924 Buffalo nickel, broach or bracelet with white stones, couple old bullet casings, 1929 NY State dog tag, flat buttons, disabled veterans tag (missing insert), community (Oneida) child's fork, toy fork, couple old spoon bowls, flower design flat button, suspended clip, tiny pencil, hand forged lever of some sort - I really love how it was made, horseshoe, marble and my favorite 1813 classic one cent copper in pretty decent shape (only cleaned with a toothpick) ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1498425034.030350.jpgImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1498425050.275270.jpgImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1498425059.592164.jpgImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1498425070.367853.jpgImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1498425078.301764.jpgImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1498425090.785359.jpgImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1498425105.611097.jpgImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1498425121.692520.jpgImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1498425182.324453.jpgImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1498425194.791003.jpgImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1498425216.408936.jpgImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1498425228.354755.jpgImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1498425238.218145.jpgImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1498425248.111009.jpgImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1498425259.037249.jpgImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1498425276.055618.jpgImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1498425289.774100.jpgImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1498425301.847357.jpgImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1498425311.947737.jpgImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1498425324.215828.jpgImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1498425335.208779.jpgImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1498425357.938038.jpgImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1498425388.325917.jpg

wow, you got a pretty nice variety there. silver, coins, relics = great finds

Outstanding hunt ! In that condition, the 1813 Classic Head Large Cent is a rare find, and banner worthy. I don't suppose you sell your finds, but if you do .........

I'm a sucker for a dog tag. Nice haul.

OK Yes, I too would call that a "Wonderful day", in fact with the 1813 cent, "Wonderful day" may be an understatement. Very nice.

Thanks so much! I barely even cleaned it. Very light rub and tiny bit with toothpick. I took it to club meeting last night and they were going nuts over it. I did do some research and they didn't mint many. I will get a better picture up soon.

Thanks SPRAILROAD! How is the digging in Oregon? I will be out their in August visiting my son after a visit in California with my other son. Gotta get some digging in. Take care from Upstate NY.

Cool hunt! I like that lever too. Your yard is probably like mine filled with rusty whatits:) Congrats on such an old coin and dog tag. Great keepers! I hope your next hunt is even better!
